From the promise to Abraham to the song around the throne, Scripture shows one God who loves the whole world, wants every person to be saved, and is gathering worshipers from every nation through His Son.
Before He ascended, the risen Christ commanded His church to take the Gospel to every person: go, win them to Him, baptize them, and teach them to obey. He gave it to the church, every believer shares it, and it stands until He comes.
The Gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day, and that everyone who turns to Him and trusts Him alone is saved by God's grace. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing else can take its place.
Sharing the Gospel is a conversation in which a believer listens, tells who Jesus is and what He did, and asks for a response, leaving conviction to the Spirit and the decision to the one who must believe.
Your testimony is the true story of how you came to trust Christ and what He has done since, told honestly and briefly so that people see Him and not you.
Most objections to the Gospel can be met with patient listening, an honest word, and a short, kind answer that leads back to Jesus Christ, His cross, and His empty tomb.
When someone trusts Christ, the Great Commission is not finished. A new believer needs someone to show him God's promise, walk with him into baptism and the church, teach him the Word and prayer, help him tell others, and stay close.
God calls, a local church confirms and sends, and every believer takes part by praying, giving, or going, so that the Gospel reaches new places and new churches are planted.
The Gospel reached the world through ordinary believers who were sent, who suffered, and who sometimes failed badly, and the whole story belongs to Christ, who will gather His people from every nation.
