Do All Religions Lead to God?
Most of us know someone who follows another faith: a Muslim coworker, a Jewish neighbor, a Hindu or Buddhist classmate, a friend who is spiritual but not religious. Many of them are kind, devout, and sincere. So the question comes naturally: aren't all religions just different paths to the same God?
Knowledge can feed pride. This study is not about winning debates or feeling superior to people of other faiths. It is about knowing what you believe and why, so that you can speak the truth in love with a settled heart and point people to Jesus rather than to yourself.
The belief that all religions are equally valid paths to God or to ultimate reality, so that none is uniquely true.
Engaging other religions requires two things held together: clear conviction that Jesus is the only way to God, and humble compassion toward people who are sincerely wrong. Sincerity by itself cannot save anyone. Jesus said so plainly, and His apostles repeated it.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
Can you articulate why Jesus is the only way without sounding arrogant?
