The Work of the Spirit
The Spirit convicts the world, regenerates the believer, baptizes him into Christ's body, indwells and seals every child of God, and fills those who yield to Him.
The lesson walks through the topic one card at a time. The full study is the complete written article, with its sources.
What you'll learn
1
Trace the Spirit's work in creation, in inspiring Scripture, and among God's people before Pentecost.
2
Explain how the Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.
3
Distinguish the Spirit's once-for-all works at salvation (regenerating, baptizing, indwelling, sealing) from His daily works (filling, sanctifying, illuminating, empowering).
4
Show why the Spirit's seal means a believer can grieve the Spirit but never lose Him.
