Eschatology
Christ is coming again. Eschatology studies the rapture of the church, the tribulation, Christ's millennial reign, the final judgment, and the eternal state.

At death the spirit leaves the body. A believer goes at once to be with Christ in joy, an unbeliever goes to a place of torment, and both wait for the resurrection of the body.
Before the seven-year Tribulation, Christ will come in the air for His church, raising the dead in Christ and catching up living believers to meet Him.
After the Rapture the world will pass through the seven years of Daniel's seventieth week, when God judges a rebellious earth, the Antichrist rises and falls, a great multitude is saved, and Israel is brought to her Messiah.
At the end of the Tribulation the Lord Jesus will return to the earth visibly and bodily, with His saints, to save Israel, judge the nations, and begin His reign.
After the Tribulation Christ will return to the earth and reign on David's throne for a thousand years, keeping God's promises to Israel and ruling the nations in righteousness.
Every person will stand before Christ: believers at His judgment seat to receive reward, and unbelievers at the great white throne after the thousand years.
God will make a new heaven and a new earth, where the redeemed will dwell with Him forever; all who reject Christ will be punished forever in the lake of fire.
