Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of Theologica, the website at theologica.app and the Theologica iPhone and Android apps, operated by The Phalanx Project LLC (“we”). By using Theologica you agree to them.

Your Account

Give accurate information when you make an account, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time from Profile, then Preferences, then Delete account.

Theologica Plus

Theologica Plus is a yearly subscription that opens the whole library and Scripture memory. In the iPhone app:

• The price and the length of the subscription are shown before you buy.
• Eligible new subscribers begin with a free trial. If you do not cancel during the trial, the yearly price is charged when it ends.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID.
• The subscription renews automatically each year at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel in your iPhone's Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling keeps Plus until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

In the Android app:

• The price and the length of the subscription are shown before you buy.
• Eligible new subscribers begin with a free trial. If you do not cancel during the trial, the yearly price is charged when it ends.
• Payment is charged to your Google Account through Google Play.
• The subscription renews automatically each year at the same price unless you cancel before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel in the Play Store app, under your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling keeps Plus until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy; request one at play.google.com, under Order history.

On the website:

• The price and the length of the subscription are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Eligible new subscribers begin with a free trial. If you do not cancel during the trial, the yearly price is charged when it ends.
• Payment is charged to your card through our payment processor, Stripe. Your statement will show THEVANGUARD.CO.
• The subscription renews automatically each year at the same price unless you cancel before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel on your Profile, under Manage Subscription. Cancelling keeps Plus until the end of the period you paid for.
• For a refund, write to anthony@thevanguard.co.

The Content

The lessons, articles, and other writing in Theologica belong to The Phalanx Project LLC. You may read and study them, quote short passages with credit, and share links freely. Please do not copy or republish the content in bulk, or resell it. Scripture quotations are from the King James Version, which is in the public domain.

Theologica is for study and teaching. It does not replace the counsel of your pastor and your local church.

Using Theologica Well

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break into accounts or systems, to get around the subscription, or to scrape the library. We may suspend an account that does.

The iPhone App

If you use the iPhone app, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and The Phalanx Project LLC, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.

No Warranty

We work to keep Theologica accurate and available, but it is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, The Phalanx Project LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date above, and the updated terms apply from then on.
